6/25_Docker Study Session

In today's 4th period, Mr. Morioka and Mr. Inada of Shikida Lab B4 led a Docker study session as a preliminary preparation for the container workshop to be held on July 9 and 10!

The workshop will be led by Mr. Yukinori Sakashita, an authority on storage and one of the first members of Shikida Lab, and will include a classroom lecture and exercises on “containers,” a technology that organizes servers to enable efficient development and management of applications and the Web.

In addition to Shikida Lab members, members from other labs will also gather for the course.

In today's Docker study session, we studied the installation and operation of docker desktop, a platform for operating containers, and the characteristics of containers.

One of the lecturers, Mr. Morioka, said, “I finished the content of the workshop that I had set as my goal rather quickly, and I am satisfied that I was able to teach the plus-alpha of container operation.
